Crazy Foot Pursuit Leads to Vehicle Pursuit

A large amount of RCMP officers were involved in a amazingly stunning foot pursuit which turned into a vehicle pursuit. The foot pursuit began when Inspector Glen talked to Jim Taylor, an off duty LCAS EMT who assisted a woman who passed out in a park in the Firefly Projects. The caller reported that the EMT may have. A needle containing an unknown substance was found on his person. Dispatch reported he was wanted for homicide. The man, hearing the radio transmission, then fled on foot pursued by the Inspector and another officer and jumped onto the LTA Subway tracks (endangering the lives of officers as RCMP were unable to have the trains stopped). He jumped off the tracks a few yards from Schottler station later on to the street below and was lost. His actions resulted in the search of a house nearby. He was later reported back on the tracks and lost yet again.. A unit spotted him stealing a grey Cavalcade on Cassidy Street and crashed several times. Multiple units engaged in a high speed  five unit cross borough chase. He crashed, struck a civilian, hit another car and flipped over on Dukes Blvd. just outside the detachment. The suspect was arrested and the civilian was airlifted to an Algonquin hospital as Schottler was unable to receive.
